Credit Union checking accounts are called share draft accounts. There is no limit to the number of checks or share drafts you can write each month. As part of this account, you may also request a Visa Check Card to be used for purchases and cash advances using this account. You may use your Visa Check Card to make purchases or withdraw cash at any merchant or ATM anywhere that the "Visa" logo is displayed. Direct Deposit and ACH transactions are also available with this account. The first 50 share drafts are printed free of charge. Members may choose from a large selection of check styles. Prices of the check reorders will vary depending on the style chosen. Please see the credit union for details. You must maintain a minimum average daily balance of $500 in your account in order to obtain a monthly dividend. Dividends are calculated by the average daily balance method which applies a periodic rate to the average daily balance in your account.
